Metadata Info
All films must include a description, release date, parental ratings, language, genre, director, lead actors’ names, writers, keywords, film duration, and IMDb (if available).
If submitting a series, all episodes must have a series title, episode title, content type, season number, and all info from line 1.
Video Format
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
- Minimum resolution: 1920 x 1080 is required
- Max file size: 135 MB
- Video length: 15, 30, or 60 seconds for trailers (films 55 mins or longer not exceeding 2 hours), episodes to series no shorter than 35 mins, and music videos 2 to 4 mins
- Frame rate: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97p, 50i, 59.94i fps
- Bitrate: 25 mbps
- File types: .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg.
Metadata Info
- Cover art must be 522×760 px (portrait size) 300 dpi minimum
- Cover art must meet professional standards and be of high quality.
- Include the name of the title.
- Ensure the title on the artwork matches the metadata title exactly.
- Submit a JPEG or PNG file.
HOW DO YOU AS A FILMMAKER GET PAID WITH US
Indie Films is a direct-to-consumer-based platform with no ads or CPM (Cost Per Mille). We are designed to cut out the middleman and help independent filmmakers earn more income for their productions. We promote our platform to the masses, allowing independent creators to reach a larger audience. Our process is simple: it’s a 25/75% split, with 75% going to the filmmaker. We pay out on a 90-day quarterly basis, regardless of the amount earned. Currently, we use PayPal for payouts. We set up a non-exclusive contract between IndieFilms100 and the company/creator joining our platform.
