This guide explains the required metadata, video specifications, cover art requirements, and how creators get paid when submitting content through publishi.indiefilms100.com for potential streaming on indiefilms100.com.
Important: Submissions must meet all requirements below. Incomplete metadata or incorrect formats may delay review or result in rejection.
1) Metadata Requirements (Mandatory)
For Films
- Description
- Release Date
- Parental Ratings
- Language
- Genre
- Director
- Lead Actors’ Names
- Writers
- Keywords
- Film Duration
- IMDb Link (if available)
For Series (Episodes)
If you are submitting a series, every episode must include:
- Series Title
- Episode Title
- Content Type
- Season Number
- All Film Metadata Requirements (listed on the left)
2) Video Format Requirements
Video Specs
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9
- Minimum Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Required)
- Max File Size: 135 MB
- Bitrate: 25 Mbps
Frame Rate
- 23.976 fps
- 24 fps
- 25 fps
- 29.97p fps
- 50i fps
- 59.94i fps
Accepted File Types
- .mov
- .mp4
- .mpeg
- .mpg
3) Duration & Content Length Rules
Trailers
Trailer submissions must be:
- 15 seconds
- 30 seconds
- 60 seconds
Applies to films 55 minutes or longer and not exceeding 2 hours.
Series Episodes
Episodes submitted to a series must be:
- No shorter than 35 minutes
Music Videos
Music video submissions must be between:
- 2 minutes to 4 minutes
4) Cover Art Requirements (Mandatory)
Cover Size & Quality
- 522 × 760 px (Portrait)
- 300 DPI minimum
- Must meet professional standards
- High-quality, clean, and readable
Title Rules
- Artwork must include the title name
- The artwork title must match the metadata title exactly
Accepted Formats
- JPEG
- PNG
